Membership
The Lions are the biggest 'hands on' voluntary organisation in Fleet. Our prime objective is to help out in the local community. We are part of a worldwide organisation with 1½m male and female members including nearly 1,000 clubs in the UK.
Why should I join?
- You'll get an opportunity to make new friends!
Because we work locally and serve the local community, you'll meet lots of people in Fleet. - You will be able to involve the whole family!
Your children can be in the Carnival parade or join in Funfest. Your partner can help you man the gates of our fireworks fiesta or dress up as a snowman for ourChristmas float collection. All are welcome at many of our social events. - We can give you the chance to learn new skills!
We do practical things such as projects at Fleet Pond and organising small and large events for the young and not so young alike. - The choice of what and how much you do is down to you!
We organise and get involved in a wide variety of fundraising events and activities to help the needy.
